Nelson Mandela airlifted
Nelson Mandela was airlifted from Capetown to Milpark Hospital by military aircraft so that he ccould be attended to by his own private doctors.
It is understood that the 92-year-old former president had been on holiday in the Cape when he developed a persistent cough.
He was taken to hospital for medical tests and a decision was made for him to return to Joburg.
