31st August 2011

Slght technical hitch last night, fixed my internet connection this morning. I haven't written anything for a while, been in an introspective mood, haven't felt like communicating with the world wide web, or in my case 10 followers...Another end of a month, the end of the project is in sight, it feels terrifying. What will I do with myself once this project is over, its been such a huge part of my life for a year. Just hang out on the weekends with my wonderful fella and all the kids, yay. That sounds wonderful.

Todays story, any excuse to paint a shark, anybody who knows me knows my love of sharks...many sleepless nights filled with recorded shark documentaries. Just can't do day three of Malema.

The most feared at it again

Great white sharks are moving away from Seal Island closer inshore to False Bay beaches-a seasonal response to last summer's seal pups growing older and wiser and more difficult to catch.
The sharks' inshore movement is also a response to migratory prey species like yellowtail moving into False Bay as sea temperatures begin to warm with the approach of spring.
