22nd Fbruary 2011

This week I can't be very vivacious, its stocktake week
at work, its a tiring time. Maybe next week I will be bubbly again!! Wish there was a fella waiting at home with a cuppa tea and a biscuit. Wow,when did the party girl in me dissapear.  These days a cup of tea is so much more fufilling than lots of my previous social activicties. Blah blah blah. Onto todays story something that affects all of us, the toll roads:

Toll suspension'a victory for road users'
The suspension of the tariffs gazetted for the tolling of Gauteng highways is a victory for road users and the taxpayer, the Freedom Front Plus said on Tuesday.
“The Freedom Front Plus is satisfied with the announcement that the toll gate system is temporarily being suspended until the tariff issue has been resolved,” said spokesman on transport, Anton Alberts, in a statement.
The announcement of the toll fees prompted a public outcry, with the ANC and its ally, Cosatu, also voicing their disapproval. Concerns were raised over the high prices and the impact of the tolling system on the poor.
Transport Minister Sbu Ndebele on Tuesday announced that the tariffs were suspended until further notice
